Crawling:


Crawling is the process which is used by Search engines to update the new content which is availabe in internet or web upto-date.

It will check all the websites available in internet periodically.If it is find anything new or any new websites or web pages then it will get automatically updated in the Search Engine database.

Search Engines crawls the web by using spiders or bots.Spiders are the program which is created by Search Engines to crawl the web periodically to update it content and all the links in its database.


Indexing

Indexing comes after crawl process of Search Engines.It is the process done by Search Engines to keep an index of all the upto-date website links and content in its database.

It stores all the relevant keywords that present in the web page content.Then it shows result according to those keywords when user search for any content.

How Search Engines works ?

You might have known or not known about how the search engines works.

Here i got to know some information about how Search Engines works.

i. At First, they will look for everything that available in web and then they read all the new websites which are available in the web, they aslo look if anything has updated in its previous indexed websites.
This part is know as Crawling.

ii. Then, they will make index for everything which they found as new in the web. This part under Indexing.

iii. Then, they will show the results based on the user query which matches against the keyword indexed in that particular Search Engine.

What is Search Engine ?

Search Engines are the sites which helps the web users to find the information available on the other sites.
A Search Engine is used to search website content based on your keyword given in a query.
Google, Yahoo, Bing are some of the familiar search engine nowadays.

You can search " what you are looking for ? " from that Search Engine. It will give the search results based on your query given to it.

For example if you use the keyword like "unoseo" and give it as a query in a Search engine then it will display the results related to "unoseo" like its original website and other links to that site or blog.

You can experience yourself in some of the familiar Search Engines like in Google, Bing, Yahoo etc if you are done it before.
